Kirsten’s oil on canvas works are prepared by the artist using a medium weight cotton duck canvas stretched over kiln-dried, non-warping 30x70mm stretcher bar. Oil on canvas works are unframed and painted around the edges of the stretcher so they may be hung attractively without the need for framing.
Digital artworks are reproduced in limited editions of 250 and are printed on museum quality fine art canvas. Digital artworks are available rolled or mounted on 10mm thick Kappa Fix foamcore. Kappa Fix is a superior product that resists warping.
All limited edition prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity which includes the unique edition number, title, size, medium, year of printing and Kirsten’s signature.
Canvas reproductions are UV protected and will last 80+ years with proper care.
Framed Gallery Prints
Kirsten frames her gallery prints using a raw ramin timber float frame. Float frames feature a 5-10mm shadow line between the print and the inside edge of the frame. Ramin is a hardwood timber that resists warping and is considered an excellent framing timber. It is generally a pale honey colour with a subtle grain and some natural colour variation. The raw timber frames are white washed or clear matte sealed by the artist to suit each particular artwork.
Kirsten frames her gallery pieces in batches to maintain affordability for her clients.
If an artwork is not currently available framed, Kirsten can take your order and frame the work at a later date or you may like to consider purchasing a rolled print and having the work mounted and framed at a framer of your choice.
